We had a brilliant time at Flaxley Abbey last Saturday, we always enjoy this fete mainly due to the beautiful surroundings. This year we were brave enough to go on the tractor rides, we had to take turns obviously but it was worth every bumpy minute of the ride to see the view from the top of the hill that the poor old tractor had to pull us up. On top of that we met more of our happy customers and even found some new ones! It was so enjoyable we can not wait until next year. The weather was brilliant, burgers were supplied by Ensors in the Forest of Dean and were the tastiest burgers I have had for a while.
There are obviously some hardcore gardeners in the Flaxley area as Rosemary and Lavender Gardeners Soap proved to be the biggest seller on Saturday.
All our own-brand hand-made soaps are made at "The Bubble" in Mitcheldean and are some of the most luxurious and beautiful soaps available. We make them by hand and do not use any artificial ingredients. They are, therefore, kind to sensitive skin! Jenny D said "Great to have a product made with natural ingredients. The Olive Oil soap is very mild and great for sensitive skin like mine. I use it all the time.". Thank you Jenny.
Flaxley Abbey
Amy Barnes came to see us as well from Lavenders Blue Floristry in Mitcheldean and so did Emma Wheeler one of our soap party hosts who travelled from Gloucester. So, as I said, it was a grand day out.
